Hardwood Vents
We usually update older floors by installing new flush mounted hardwood vents to replace surface mounted metal vents. Optional adjustable dampers make the hardwood vent just as practical.
Perimeter Moldings Transition Strips: when the wood floor meets vinyl or tile, we like to see a wood transition strip that matches the floor. We manufacture whatever transition strip is required to make a beautiful transition between floor areas
Baseboard Moldings: In remodeling, we often recommend eliminating the old baseboard moldings. They are generally beat up and have served their purpose. Very often a painted baseboard plus a quarter round molding (shoe molding) will make a huge difference in the appearance of the floor.
Crawl Space Covers Crawl Space access covers are not usually given much attention. We can make them functional and good looking when putting in a new floor, including mortised, decorative finger pulls.
